Veterinary group is shortlisted for national environmental award
Davies Veterinary Specialists’ green group was shortlisted in the ‘best team’ category for 2019 in the Institute of Environmental Management Sustainability Impact Awards. The awards were introduced by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment to recognise the people and businesses making progress in sustainability. European specialist in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia Ellie West is Davies’ sustainability lead. In April she achieved Best Green Champion at an Investors in the Environment (iiE) awards ceremony. Recently Davies took part in World Environment Day, encouraging staff to make pledges and calculate their own carbon footprints.
